Country Flags

Country Flags

A Poem by Rhonda

Just because we have different flags doesn't mean that we should fight

Look at how many people got killed on my side and your side

If we keep doing this, it'll be no good for any of us

What's the answer?

World peace

I've always wanted to go to an Arab country

It's very dangerous for me to go

I've grown to love the music and culture

On a Nancy Ajram fan club forum, the people there think that I'm nice

They know I'm American

And they know that I know that they're Arab

No harm

Why can't the world be like that?

We should all just get along and make a truce

Do you think that?

I have known Arab people all my life. kind and gentle people. When we learn a gun to someone head won't bring peace. World will have peace. Can't plant 250,000 USA Soldiers and do not create enemies and fear. Your poem is so simple and true but in this world of threats and hate. I pray for peace and common sense. A excellent poem.

I wish this could be. Humans are the least humane of all earths creatures and in the end we will destroy ourselves because so many only know how to hate. Great Write!

well, that's a good idea; I wonder why nobody thought of it...maybe the answer is much larger than someone's wishes...maybe the answer is so large and complex it will take an atomic bomb to sort out the pieces (all of which are made out of people)...
