Exodus

Exodus

Ashes to ashes
Dust to dust
My Exodus
Is a must
As my tears and
All of my fears
Has caused my
Soul to rust
Mad because
I was forced to
Be a nomad
I am sad
Knowing if I look
Back
How he will react
Knowing I will not
Enter the kingdom
Beats constantly
On my eardrums
For some still believe
That I grieve
Because I have not
Heard or heeded to
His words
So my Exodus
Is a must
Before I return
To the dust
I will see that
He is King of
All kings
I will have to
Sing
At the top of my
Lungs and
Atone for the things
I have done
And for what I have
Become
Thinking I am a
Deity
When
He is greater
Than me
So I
May die
As my Exodus is
Must
