Faded Love

Faded Love

A Poem by RobbieT
"

I wrote this as folksy tuned love song about a man lamenting the death of his wife but immortalizing her in lyric.

"
Days will pass and summers end
Death will come my heart to rend
I see you now in summer's light
My beautiful angel Death did slight
But in my dreams of summer days
I remember you in radiant rays
Take this song unto your grave
With these blooms your touch I crave
Days will pass and summers end
Death will come my heart to rend
Pray you now part in peace
Time will fade my love won't cease
Live in me my heart and mind
You're immortal in this rhyme
Days will pass and summers end
Death will come my heart to rend
Seasons change and all does fade
Except our love that God had made
