Four Walls Of Infinite Sadness

Four Walls Of Infinite Sadness

A Poem by Ross Emerson Realino

I walked down the stairs of emptiness
All that I have followed was a shadow of you
I was almost halfway of reaching you
But again, you were gone in sight

And so, as I reached the last step
The ground is but a deep sea
And so, I took a seat on the last step
And watched the sea burn itself

The sky was the same as my face
It rained so hard that it caresses my heart
My eyes were closed and everything's in rhythm
They're all flowing in reverse and they got buried in my fear

And now, the sea is resting in serenity
I took the last step and dipped my foot
And then I dipped the other one
Now at last, I'm drowning carelessly

And then I saw you down there
Waiting for my hands to lock with yours
Now at last, our souls intertwined
I can now finally smile for a lifetime

But lifetime was just a minute and a half
All that you are got lost in the darkness of the depths
All that was left was these four walls of my room
Where I laid my silent thoughts of you

About
I used to try writing songs before but I can't make one, so I tried to find something where I can put my early works of lyrics. Until they were turned into poems. I started poetry when I was 16 years .. more..
