Lets leave the world behind

And get lost in each other.

We can take the old path behind the house,

Holding hands like we used to.

Bring me back to where we used to lie together

In the shade of the cedar trees.

Lie with me again my love.

Wrap your arms around me and hold me close

Like you did so long ago.

Look at me the way you always would

And let me swim in the blue-gray pools that speak of your love.

Remind me of how it felt to meet each other's lips

In a moment of truest passion.

Lets stay out all night too and never go back.

We can watch the stars come out,

Completely enwrapped in each other.

Hold me close tonight.

Press your body close to mine.

Maybe tomorrow we can leave the word behind

And get lost in each other.

Come with me love and I'll be your's forever.

this is a beautiful love poem.. it reminds me of an older love yearning to
reconnect like it was in the beginning .. and as we all want it to stay but alas...

this makes me feel once again that im there, different things pop out at me and thats what makes a poem rememorable. you did a really good job at wrtieing a rommantic one :D theyre fun to write because its like spilling your deepest thoughts about love all over paper.. except were kinda online. haha but i really enjoyed it!
