Life's Not Fair

A short, two-line couplet originally meant to be used for a future longer poem STILL not created. I find these two lines true though, and I decieded to share it to the world because I find it very true. I hope you do too. ;)

Life's not fair-- how sad!

Sometimes the things you do for good are percieved as bad.

Short, but as I said before, I find that it relates to life in many different ways. I hope you can understand it too. Any comments will help me and my writing, trust me! :D

Fascinating. Although it's only two lines, I feel like there's a whole story behind it, of which we're being given only a small glimpse.

I have to say, though, that I hate the phrase "life's not fair." People too often use it as an excuse for their petty actions. (The way you use it is fine, though. I just thought I'd mention that.)
