Truth

Truth

A Poem by S.E.C.
"

Some times we just dont want to know

"

Truth.

I swim in days of wonder

And years of misspent time,

While you lay in beds of ashes

Wondering if you were ever mine.

It's time I see some sorrow.

Those cascading tears of pain.

And sit here in this quiet hour

Whispering silently your name.

To seek the ones who were replaced

Is a lost cause for those with eyes.

For we are able to see to your heart

And know the ones you loved were replaced by lies.

It's never just a simple remark

That gets us where we're going.

You have to try and learn whats right in life,

Hopefully without ever actually knowing.
