Love Painfully

Love Painfully

A Poem by SabrinaThePoet

The impact of falling for you was tragic,
I mean, you sent two suicide bombers
crashing into my lungs, causing them
to collapse like the World Trade Center,
You took my breath away, You strapped
C4 to butterflies and shoved them down
my esophagus, and as they sat at the pit
of my stomach, they then exploded into
more f*****g butterflies, and without my
permission you dug a scalpel down the center
of my chest, pride open my ribcage and snatched
the only thing that already belongs to you.

Wow. Well you wrote a a lot of emotional pain within this, very powerful too. The descriptions of explosives within this poem show that the amount of pain is huge. Nice one.
