Spaceships

Spaceships

A Poem by SabrinaThePoet

"Lets pretend that airplanes in the night sky were like shooting stars" - Haley Williams

So I guess I'll pretend spaceships are like comets

The bigger the transportation the greater the wish

I like to dream big

And if I could

I would take that song

Dissect and decipher every lyric

Then implant my heartbeat into each rhythm

So that when the song plays

You can hear my heartbeat

Beat!

And when it beats

The speakers speak

And tell my wishes.

This was an interesting twist on a good song. I liked it quite a bit.

I like how you took the line from a song and put your own twist on it. And with the use of a spaceship which is huge and then saying you like to dream big in a way gives the reader a hope that makes you think and feel that you can dream big too (: I like a lot.
