An Apology

An Apology

A Story by Ua

As my guards start to soften, and my stories become less exact and dreamier, I get a chance for you to show me your beauty. It makes me weep in sorrow to see what I have and have not done for you. I never try to get blinded by the light I see in you, but it happens. I wrap you into a role that is hard to play, and you have to leave, I understand, and it has always been unfair. I do not know if I have the words to express my apologies for this, especially when I know I am still blind most of the time. My only hope for these moments is that there is an underlying tonal language that truly tells you that I accept and love you for all that you are, and you can be whoever you please.
