Emerald Isle

Emerald Isle

A Poem by Seriana
"

I have no idea where this came from.....

"

Emerald Isle

And I walked the yellow road

filled with fluid melodies in flute

harmonized by violins swaying in tune

they entombed me in their whimsical gathering

wishing….threading… like vapors

they would vanish all too soon....

O how I longed to feel the breezes

the fervent flow flinging through my black locks

those that rose and halted the sun

and stirred the moon to twilight dance

I longed for the scent of the sweet cello

a caressing solace upon the wind of my mind....

And as the waves of water sloshed upon my feet

nibbling tranquilly at my tender toes

swaddling them with effervescent glows

and the sun shone down upon me

like a glorious Heavenly canopy filled with love and light

a warmth Beyond came crashing violently inside....

And in that moment the shades turned on their stems

showing vast approval in a shadowed masquerade

and when I gasped uncontrollably with tears in my eyes

the fracture in the air let out a perfect sigh

when angel hearts resonated with mine....

I envy you this talent. You have an absolutely magnficent way with metaphor and word crafting. This is breathtaking Amber! And at the end, I let out a big sigh. WOW!

At first I thought of the wizard of course ... emerald isle in relation to city ... yellow bricks in relation to roads ...

I've always wanted to visit oz. lol And oz with an ocean too! To hell with wanting to go home ... I'd click heels to stay forever!

No, I'm not smoking anything. LOL See what you've done. I'm now lost in my imagination ...

Outstanding work!!

A perfect pace, contrasts and words that caress the mind once filled with the mundane... Now filled with your lyric words... Lyric world... Oh, you drape the screen with emerald and azure... Amazing...

Amber, this is certainly one of the prettiest pieces you have written. I like the small journey this took me on. As Art said, it was like I was in a very good dream. Lovely my dear.

Sweet and very beautiful, melancholic but upbaet
"the fracture in the air let out a perfect sigh
when angel hearts resonated with mine...."

Love this close

"harmonized by violins swaying in tune
they entombed me in their whimsical gathering"

Is wonderfully romantic :)
Ty for bringing this piece to my attention !
