BLOOM

BLOOM

A Poem by TerryDarcy-Ryan akaSheerTerror

a starving for light begins

the slow turn of a maiden

color gestures to beg

the careless caress

sunlit redemption

a blooming odyssey weeps

staggers weak a boulder to knee

fleeting moments prayed in the sun

mystery adrift in a petals whisper

whimsical cycles of trespass

sweep about a ravaged corsage

obey the wind come undone

surrendered soft for hands

to gather again

very deep and beautiful indeed. there is a magical/mystical quality. this speaks to me of the delicate, complex things of life and that what is most prized is delicate (the two usually going hand-in-hand) - not to be taken lightly. there is a season for everything. we must appreciate those "blooms" for what and when they are - a complex gift come to fruition but for a temporary, fleeting time ... :)
