Suicide

 The black bat

Spreads it foreboding wings

And the darkness is brought to life

I cower in the corner

As I slowly turn insane

I wonder if I’m dreaming

Someone wake me up

Before I take the plunge

A dark angel swoops before me

I cry out from my tormented mind

Hear me someone

Save my soul

The curtains are about to close

Hmm, there was a lot of imagery in this, I could see it as if I were watching someone jump off a building myself. Very good! The last three lines make it seem almost as if the speaker doesn't really want to "let the curtains close" ... This piece was pretty twisting for me for I find many meanings in this.
