Sunshine and Butterflies

Sunshine and Butterflies

A Poem by Ronnie Smith
"

Hurting loved ones isn't anything new, but it's still one of the worst things you can do. Written by myself and close friend Kaiya.

"

Sunshine and butterflies

Its all lies

I've got nothing to prove

You tell me to move

I do what you say

Look at me this way

Running through a flowerfield

Laying on my back

It all turns black

Wanting nothing more than

flowers as a bed

But all the flowers

are dead

You're the smiling moon

But I hurt you

All the stars are crying

I feel it too

Please stay with me

I know you will see

That all this time

You were mine

Sunshine and butterflies

I'm all lies.
