Once upon a new dream

 

Come baptize my infertile dreams again

Immerse these skeletons in radiant hope

Let heaven’s faith save me from this dark den

And pluck me from the grip of fear’s tightrope.

 Beyond shy clouds I peek through heaven’s door

I feel light flood my deepest memories

I’ve called and love has spoken with a roar "

A soul, ballooned, enjoying sweet release.

 Unshackled, these free limbs choose wisely now

No more enticed by paths of empty lust

Dark desires quickly fled my stressed brow

As cloudless hope builds bridges of new trust.

Call to me and my words will chase you down -

After the cross, remember, there’s a crown.
