Morning colors

Morning colors

A Poem by SleeplessVolcano

First, it's a blueish gray
fighting with midnight black
Then, a friendly silver comforts blue,
as if to say,
"Don't worry, buddy, help is coming".
and then, they arrive -
A half a dozen peaches,
a few hand-picked pinks,
and right up until the last moment,
one or two oranges also got up onto the stage -
waiting, patiently, for that one moment
for that glorious bolt
of pure yellow
to herald in
another colorful day.
