Four seasons

Four seasons

A Poem by SleeplessVolcano

One fateful summer’s day
She waltzed into my inbox
With such brilliance
And pizzazz -
A poet at a loss for words.

One fateful day in fall
Our blossoming love stalled
When the oceans between us
Laughed at our youthful zeal.

One fateful winter’s day
We said goodbyes with tears
Even love poems will die too
Through cold and distant hugs.

One hopeful day in spring
I found a stranger’s words
Arresting my inbox again -
I laughed and walked away.
