The Fallen

The Fallen

A Story by SlightlyLost

Fallen over grace and everyone alive knew the case

The young girl lost her heart thinking that love was an art

No one told her pretty little mind, that love and fate is never easy to find

The stars that glisten in the sky above was easier to get hold of

Her heart desperately yearned and fell into the depths of the unreturned

Yet with all the doubtful, she returned with nothing but a different outcome

She has fallen and returned with some pieces forgotten

some pieces were lost with spaces between

her heart has healed and mended

Nothing they have foreseen

Questioned and seeked, they ask for the truth

If the answer to their questions were in their youth

She realised then and there that these people were the fallen

Lost to wander, lost to pretend

To believe to remember how it felt

to be loved and to be in love

They have spent their days putting this to words

Questioning to what was to it

She stepped back to wonder herself

how lucky and kind that fate has found her

she slowly remembered that she answered a door

love came in and let it in

K.K.

You can always be good at being yourself. No one can do that but you.
