LOVE LETTER TO DESIRE

LOVE LETTER TO DESIRE

A Poem by Solitaireman

"

Whenever our paths cross,

my day always seems to take a turn for the best

Your bright, sunny smile makes me feel warm all over

At first I thought you were a Princess in an Ivory Tower

A precious gem to possess

An exotic idol to worship

During the past few days,

I have begun to envision you in a different light.

You are not only an extremely attractive woman.

But someone sensually desirable as well

It difficult to describe how many times I've imagined

Enveloping you in my arms

Caressing your curvaceous figure

Gazing into bejeweled eyes

Tasting your inviting lips

Circumstances being what they are,

My passions and desires must remain unspoken

My admiration, for you, must satisfied from afar

Dearest one,

I beg of you to cherish my anonymity

I'm afraid you'll be greatly disappointed

If you discovered my identity

However,

Keep my words in your heart

Sincerely,

Solitaire

Sensual writing that reads romantic.

The way you constructed the character in the first stanza was marvelous..! The powerful and subtle words you used to describe how you saw her, 'At first I thought you were a Princess in an Ivory Tower
A precious gem to possess
An exotic idol to worship' was fascinating..!
And having been a secret lover myself, i couldn't get over the beauty of the last stanza..
Lovely!!
(P.S: I've been away from cafe for over 2 years, and i now realize how much i must've missed..!)

It definitely is good. Summarizes perfectly the experiences of us people, as we quell our desires.
Your poetry definitely has consistency and meaning.
Gr8 wrk!
