Foul Play Said the Sloth

Foul Play Said the Sloth

A Poem by Song of Mercy

Leave! Give me peace, why lift my idol fronds?
I cry for this entropy brings me closer to my wish.
See, all my flowers have died and I will follow.
Torpor, you daunt me with gifts of love which bond.

Will you never love my fare or try to thrive?
I talk to you and still I feel remorse and guilt.
Lift your fronds and lay down your foul apathy.
Try Cycadia you must not perish, rather survive.

Love me my sweet Torpor, why do you do this to me?
Entropy again I cry, in the middle prison I sit dying!
Soak me with your love while I cry for my lost flowers.
Sunshine is my sorrow though my fronds betray me.

Free at last, how Cycadia did you fare? Cycadia?
Again Cycadia I see you with your weary fronds.
Realize that you are wasting away, please revive.
Ending so soon, our time was short my Cycadia.
