Empty time frameA Poem by Alexandria
The time frame is so empty It's so much slower than I anticipated it to be. There's wind in my favor but the sun poses against me. Time is putting me on trial as I stare off into my reflection The tiny ripples of water blurs my face... I see someone else Someone else looking into my eyes someone with sadistically evil eyes and a choppy grin that makes me shiver. How long do we stare at the clouds until we notice its shape? Dragon, to heart, to tall sky scrapers, all with the same form of cotton candy , soft white, purple and grey. Most are blinded by ignorance, but I'm blinded by freedom and fear. The wind have lost me and now Its just the sun and I with an empty time frame and a circular pool of water. I ponder on weather birds take advantage of their beauty to fly. When I'm sitting staring at my reflection like a tiny ant, a blasting ray of sun shining down on me as if I was an angel , painting a picture. Tiny beads of sweat drip down my forehead, wetting my hair so gently, if only I could fly I could beat down the empty time, and I could win over the sun. © 2010 AlexandriaReviews
