Healing Rain

A poem about the rain

 

A calm sensation eases my pain

As I listen to the gentle rain

It's soft melody touches my heart

Each single drop never far apart

They work as one, all together

Their beautiful song, lasting forever

It's cool touch comforts my soul

By soothing the hurt, filling the hole

It holds me close as I start to cry

It wipes away the tears without a sigh

It gives me hope for the newer light

As it lays me down to rest for the night
