W.H.A.T.E.V.E.R.

A Poem by Nely Amorim
"

You asked for it...lol

"

Whatever makes you think

How was I to know

A simple word I learned

The day I met your countrymen

Even when I try to refrain

Very often it's slips from my lips

Each time I say it you cringe

Rightly so it seems...lol

;~) that word... I too, say it frequently and need to stop!! My mother even says it; we both need to quit since it's a word my father loathes.

You made me smile and laugh with this one!!
Thanks for sharing and I hope your man doesn't "give it to ya" to badly. ;~)

It is a common misconception that the united states speaks English. the twisted and contorted spectrum of variants and contexts makes for a language that serves virtually the same purpose as shorthand writing. Delivering the most information yet using exponential smaller amounts of space... it wont be long before all 330,000,000 of us are simply spouting half formed acronyms and hand gestures. LOL... see? there i go.
