Until

Until

A Poem by Amanda
"

Just wait until the telephone rings.....

"
Everything is silent,
Foreboding like an angel's wings.
The darkness rules our minds..
Until the telephone rings.
It breaks us from our trance,
Releases our minds from their restraints.
Our imagination stands a chance,
We can make it through.
The darkness calls on us again,
Now that it has our hopes crushed too.
You see, the ring we heard,
Was only so we could see,
The hold that the darkness had us trapped between,
Now the darkness knows it has won you, won me.
Everything is silent once again,
Terrifying while the siren sings,
This monster is here for the end,
Until the telephone rings...

Amanda
I wrote this last week I think, once again in history class. Well, I guess this is the result of boredom :)
