Light escaped from the irises in your eyes

My whole fate reflected in them

The sum of the parts we’ve collected

From lifetimes of pain left over

Old souls falling in love all over again

Because we were made for each other

Comfortable drifting in the cosmos

Among the stars and planets

Drifting through time and space

I look into the tiny face we made

I see our son

And I am finally at peace
