Purple Lace

Purple Lace

A Poem by SyberRose

Night weaves a web of purple lace

in window of twilight's hour

As dancing shadows embrace

In belfry of a moonlight tower.

Lavender mist begins to swirl

as gloaming begins to fade

The Spanish moss begins to curl

 secret whispers in night cascade.

Violet eyes in dark of night

watch as scent of magnolia creep

Passion begins to tenderly bite

free spirits of restlessness weep.

Night weaves a web of purple lace

By morning dew there is no trace.

This is beautifully written. So much detail, imagery, and sensuality - and then the spell is broken "by the dew of morn." Lovely pen!

Oh yes Rose! So much sensuality and intrigue in the night. This is deliciously dark and romantic. Wonderful imagery by a master-weaver of nature's weaver. And who can resist purple lace?
Luxurious piece my dear friend.
