No Man's Land

No Man's Land

A Poem by T. F. Rice
"

Written in my mind, on a creek-walk...

"

No Man’s Land

My one step

on a giant slate

and I am

(craaaaackk)

straddling

dry creek bed

looking at

broken rock pieces

shaped like

every one of

our

once-united

states
