A Poem by Taunt-gently

Spirits lay pressed between those pages
tea stained with rare kindness.
They would gift you a gold canary
something to sing full empty mornings
on a wing; a voice courageously sunny
though weak hearted;  timid in the hand.

I tend to attribute the performance to the wings
was it I or the wind stretching the limbs?
sometimes I forget to ask

it's good to be reminded
I guess I do the same when I'm able

This is a delicate, but soft well written write.
I like this, flows wonderful.
