Never Alone

It was his eyes that brought me back to reality.

They always had a sense of finality  

It was his lips that breathed life into my broken soul

Carrying words of love, mending the part of me that all others stole. 

It was his voice that revived the will to live within my heart.

Smooth as liquid gold, and kind, right from the start.

It was his hands that helped me up, when I fell down.

It was his hands that crafted me my crown.

It was his back that supported me, when I couldn't stand on my own.

His strength always reminded me that I wasn't alone.

He is the boy I fell in love with.

The feeling you get isn't just a myth.

For he stole my heart, but didn't run away,

Instead, he lovingly chose to stay. 

He taught me how to love, to smile

He showed me, that the pain would fade after a while.

He taught me happiness through my broken tears

Told me that when things get rough, face my fears,

Do whatever I wanted in life, and he'll be there.

He made me believe he would always care.

It is with this boy, to whom my heart is sold.

That I wish to fade away with, to grow old.
