Poison

Poison

A Poem by Frankie Warman

My love shines like the moon
Willing to bleed
I'll have to face my doom
Blood-signed deed

I give my all to you
Oh the souls deed
I tried to pay my due
Because I drank that poisoned mead.

I'm gone now
A monster in my place
I don't know how
But can you stand face to face?

He doesn't believe
The hatred I have will cease
I have no way to relieve
I will never find peace.

I would've given it all
And I try
Waiting on beck and call
My fate is to die

My fate is written future sealed
Doom is all that waits
Perhaps Hades will be revealed
Maybe my destiny is the fates.
