Lost in thought

its my first real poem give me some credit

Lost In Thought

 Sitting in darkness

My mind will echo

Taking me places

Ones I don't know

Its empty and cold

But still full of light

Filling the darkness

Of unending night

Destroying my shadows

My last friend

Promising me nothing

Except the for end

"Who is there? " I could call

"Wheres the morning?

Why is no one around?"

But I can't disturd the silence

 I dare not make sound

My mind is a trap

For ones seeking adventure

And in it most are caught

I dare not lose myself there

When simply lost in thought
