Death.

Death.

A Poem by Just Some Dreamer
"

Morbid, I'm aware. This is dedicated to Michael Morilino. <3 Rest in Peace and smile on, because you made me smile.

"

Death is cunning

A cold, malicious player

Sends our hope running

An evil, beauty slayer

With eyes of cold

A heart of stone

What does it have to hold?

Death stands alone.

There is still a hole in my heart

Even though you are near the throne

At the thought we are apart

Tired of the gifts it will give

Sick of my heart dying

Our souls shall live

The knots keep untying

Yet we never stop to look

Is there anything Death can help us revive?

We are so focused on what may be took

But we see memories, learn to survive

Learning to fight

Know what we must cherish

As you lay your head tonight

In the end we must all perish

Even the bravest, sometimes will fear

Why restrain?

As the wisest shed a tear

For Death has already broken our weak chain

It is impossible to stop

Even I still go on, in vain.

With a snap, we shall drop

Do say a wish and a prayer tonight

For Death calls

Be happy it wasn’t you seeing the white, bright, light

Take my heart, tie it into knots

As I stagger blindly down, towards the world's walls

I know you've done it before, to lots

“You are worthy opponent” Death drawls

As the last fighter standing falls

Death is cunning

Do not forget this hour

For Death is gunning

It has all the power.
