Fire Eyed Fury Be My Conduct

Fire Eyed Fury Be My Conduct

A Poem by Beatrice Mars

I cry easily
When I'm alone,
So everyone
Thinks I've a heart of stone.
But everything's so touch(phone)y feely
Nowadays,
Apart from when we're
Playing with our big brother,
That I couldn't break down in front
Of you,
It'd probably be a health and safety risk.

That

Or

Either thou or I, or both, would be liable
For a sexual harassment case ...

Hmm anyhow..

We might have a slight problem,
You see it was meant to be ironic,
But you all took it seriously,
And then it all went
Boom.....

Oh well.....Oh dear....

Any way...

Let's go
Break our fast,
Let's get a burger and maybe
Some chips. And some coke.
(That might be a problem)

Please, come on, you've got
To do this or
I'm not going to pay you.
(To go to church)
Do this for me
And
It'll be so hard hitting
We'll be immortal.

(Away to heaven respective lenity,
And fire-ey'd fury be my conduct now)

Honestly I don't understand what's happening here. I just feel that it contains a lot of bitterness and wistful thinking. I think it's one of those poems that can't be judged simply by its words because it feels like it goes deeper and tells a bigger story.

Keep Writing. ^___^

love the romeo and juliet references and the little rhyming-ness at the beginning :)
