Darker Dreams

Darker Dreams

A Poem by Tina Kline
"

On being a spiders feast.

"
Misty
Tendrils
Fog - Ether Zone
I wander here
Lost - Alone
Milky White
Hazy
I cannot see
Yet I know
Spiders are all around me
Webs
Cast from evil entities
Like razor blades
They cut me
Tracery of scars
While the Spiders
Obvious in their deadly webs
Laugh - Laugh -Laugh
I fall
Slipping in my blood
I open my mouth to scream
I have no voice
This is more terrible
Than being alone
The Spiders drop
One by one
From someplace worse than Hell
I see through the fog
Their scarlet eyes
Their black tongues
Hunger for my scarlet essence
I am helpless
Bars of webs
Hold me -I am dead
Drained by Spiders
Within me no life
My glass eyes
See nothing
My voice - Never existed
Now silent
I'd sigh
If I were alive
I'd cry
If somehow I did survive
Victim of Spiders
Slave of reality
I put down my pen
I smile

Creepy. It's like you where writing about what was happening or perhaps writing about yourself writing this poem.

I'm not sure if this actually happening or if someone was dreaming or creating this story. Cool, not really knowing, adds a deeper mystery to the poem.

Dark indeed... seems deeper than just about spiders though... maybe bout the loss of control. Thanks for sharing.
