Running Free

Running Free

A Poem by Tina Kline
"

"Horses."

"
Racing beneath the setting sun's fire
Their hooves through the water thunder
Hides shimmering with the power of nature
Manes and tails flow along with wonder

No place can cage these wild horses
No fence, nor cage, nor barrier holds them
Through meadows and along ocean beaches
Their hearts and souls yearn for freedom

Very beautiful, the very image of being wild and free. Too bad the government & BLM are doing everything they can to clear off the wild mustangs and let the cattle roam over the land destroying it.

Your words express this wondrous, wild freedom, and somehow you connect their wonder to all of us... yearning to breathe free... so hopeful to be racing beneath that same fire. Awesome!
