Butterfly Beauty

A Poem by Tracie Skarbo

Beautiful, blue, butterflies
Beautiful ocean of fluttering wings
Blue sheen transforming in flight
Butterflies dance and smother in passion frenzy

Oh, how your words and the image flow so perfectly together. Such a feel of movement and light, all aflutter with wings. Stunning write!

Holden Caufield thought of them as "flutterbys, which he (and I) think makes more sense...thank you for pausing and giving us this poetic delight...Ed

Presents a very pleasant and peaceful picture, then amazement as the solid blue breaks apart and takes flight. Wonderful piece.
