All is quiet now

All is quiet now

A Poem by Vick Thomason

The result i might get one day

I listen and wait

While they preach of God and fate

I sit and frown

As they try to turn my world upside-down

I watch, blank

While they express their hate

One day it goes all quiet

And everybody is in a riot

I have been deafened

Could this be heaven?

A different format than what is typical for this, but it works. The message and its flow is good.
