Love's Landfill

Love's Landfill

A Poem by Vince Moore

Words trickle off thine's tongue like a waterfall of lies.
Purposely dodging every glance of thee's sight
Why can't thine look at thee with love
With remorse and compassion from decades of intimacy
Does thine no longer require thee?
If so, what caused thine to relinquish thee like a pile of rubbish.
If thine won't honour thee with an answer, know this...
Thee will rise from loves landfill and thee's love for thine will be recycled
No longer inhabited with sorrow and clouded vision
Thee is reborn with a new shade of life.
