Lavender Crystal

Lavender Crystal

A Poem by Vineet.U
"

When the past stops reminding us and memories start fading away, and smiles seem easier to find.

"
From the deserted table,
Under veils of still dust,
Bring back emotions unfelt of late,
A little crystal of lavender taste.

Ponder & wonder,
For I can’t remember,
What memory you relate?
Why I treasure this vain trace?

A relic for a fallen angel,
For days unremembered & nights unforgotten,
A relic that feigns a twinkle,
That looked better in her eyes.

Naughty in her beauty,
As she flutters between my fingers,
With a smile on my lips, I let her slip again,
A little crystal, a little too late.
