Prisoner

Prisoner

A Poem by Samantha ~virginpoet

Hay Mr. Rock star
screamin into the mic
bareing your soul
for all the world to reject.
Were more alike than
we'd all like to admit
living,loving,
hating, fearing
the life that we live.
Wanting to shine brighter
than all the stars
but were all pieces
of shattered dreams
your's, mine, his, her's.
When they say
they love you, you know
it's just the money they want.
Falce love come's and go's
in and out of your life
but the pain remains
deep inside ripping apart
what's left of your heart.
Hey Mr. Rock star
screaming into the mic
bareing your soul
for all the world to reject,
You feel like a chaged bird
free from flight.
A prisoner to your fame
but thats just
the price you pay
for the world
to hear you rock.
