The Hidden Goddess

You are sitting there

One hand on face, looking pretty

Your pretty lips and flattering hair

My heart calls out to you, 'Oh Sweetie!'

Did any guy test his luck?

I know they did, who would not!?

Your gentle grace hit me like a truck

That you fell for me in the end, I never thought

You're a goddess. Wait, more than that

Petty words cannot describe you 

You're more than art, a master craft

My love, like words for you just grew

You're amazing and witty

And you're funny and more than perfect

I'm crazy and gritty

With some humor in retrospect

When I see you, my heart thumps

Words flow like a cascading waterfall

My skull numbs, I go ba-dum

Cause you're fated to be mine after all

You're the Yin to my Yang

With you in tow, it is clear

We are one, we are a gang

For I have nothing to fear while you are here
