Butterflies don't live forever

Butterflies don't live forever

A Poem by write her story with love
"

Smh at them boys.

"
You kissed my soul before you got near my lips

You made butterflies dance in my veins before you became the drug running through them

Then you left like there were new cocoons to plant in someone else's mind

Beautiful I love it so much

Posted 6 Years Ago

The opening line was nothing short of genius and for that alone I love this piece way beyond the amount I should. I already have a fondness of butterflies, which is what drew me to this piece to begin with, but overall this is actually quite incredible. At first your lack of punctuation really bugged me, but now I can see that it was an artistic choice and that it actually does enhance the piece quite a bit.
