Speeding Silver BulletsA Poem by Wanderlust32197Speeding silver bullets, Each name that you fire, Shattering stained-glass windows, Shattering my heart's desire. Picking up the shards of love, Bleeding in the process. Contemplate dropping it all, Moving on and cutting my losses. But I can't force myself to do so, Regardless of how it's destroyed. I peer into your heart for love, BUt find it to remain void. So I glue these shards together, Forgetting the bullets pain, And send it back through a text, For you to shatter all over again. © 2017 Wanderlust32197 |
