I don't give a damn

I don't give a damn

A Poem by Whoreable

I say, “I don’t give a damn"
And I hope
Desperately
That the careless flick of my bangle clad wrist
conveys this
Undermined by the golden shine
of carcinogenic foundation
A shade too dark
Shredded globs
of shoplifted mascara in the corner of my crinkled eye
Not caring
is the new American dream
Romanticized by undernourished cave dwellers
Anonymous tumblr users
Slice a vein open
And all that comes out
is hideously red ink
