Isolation

Isolation

A Poem by Call Me Crazy
"

Very original title, huh?

"

Distrust and Suspicion
Brought me
Here

I'm the odd one out
The ugly duckling
Isolated

It's like being behind
A glass wall,
Cut-off from the world
Calling out desperately,
Never heard

The universe flows by me,
Everyone together
With someone
Else

I'm the rock
In the middle
Of the current

This Isolation
Is a Quarantine
From Life

I reach out,
Falling,
With no one to catch me

Isolation is
Overwhelming
Terrible
Loneliness

Author's Note

Call Me Crazy
I don't go for the rhyminess. Because I can't rhyme... also there really isn't a rhythm (like iambic measure) to it at all. Basically, I shouldn't write poetry. But it came from the heart, so it shouldn't matter, right?

About
I read and write and draw. I'm pretty happy as a person, but also kinda lazy. I try to write when I can, or when I'm really in the mood, but I still don't write as much as I would like. UPDATE: I .. more..
