Isolation

Isolation

A Poem by Charlie McEwan
"

Solitary

"
Staring out the window
Watching the rain
Carve it's lonely path
Down the windowpane
Feeling alone
With terrible shame
I rest my head against the glass
Waiting for the feeling to pass
My heart feels heavy
And out of pace
With this hectic lifestyle
I live as a race
No time to breath
No time to think
Is this the end of my life's lease?
Can I finally rest in peace?
