Sadness

A lonely being who has been maltreated by the obnoxious people around him.

From the hour I was born

I felt like I was torn

Craving for peace

wondering when will this misery cease

Wretched thoughts,

Encircling my mind

Tranquility I could never find

Seeing life as a stormy night

Conjecturing if I could fight

Condoning the denigration

Awaiting it's cessation

Drowning in tears

My shrieks..which no one hears

Lonely on a tenebrous lane

Walking in the incessant rain

Woe surrounds me

Desiring to flee

Longing to be free..

There is quite some angst here,
The water imagery could be used a little less I think 'tears' 'rain' 'also 'storm' .Or alternatively could go fully fluid.
