Seltzer Water

Seltzer Water

A Poem by golden
"

Learning how to love when you only want to push people away.

"

It’s good for stains, it takes the dirt right out.

I close the top.

Clean.

But you don’t feel this BURSTING inside me!

Bubble.

Scrub.

Bubble.

Floating to the top.

BURST.

Falling into you.

Carbonating out the stains of a bad relationship only washes evidence from the surface – inner tarnish takes longer! Strong imagery, flow and combination of words – very nice read! :-)
