Sorry Mommy

Sorry Mommy

A Poem by Akansha

Sorry for always letting you down,
always accusing you for my own lapse.
Sorry for chiding you with my gruff frowns,
for making your life even more perplexed.

To the world I may be a daughter so unmarred,
who has always been by your side.
But I know I never gave you the glee
& regard,
which a pure soul like you should have derived.

Now it's too late for me to know your worth,
and all I can do is repent,
For no one else  can fill your dearth,
and I have no chance to make amends.

The last four lines are my favourite ones nice ending. And really a mother is the most precious gift a child could have but she understands when you make those gruff frowns. Thank you for showing us a mothers worth Akansha ;)

Yaa..in now-a-days life is moving fastly
We often ignore her as we have busy schedules
But she spends her all life for taking care of us...

Thanks for sharing...
