Itll happen when it happens

people say this all the time as if its something that eases pain

i know im being impatient

But it hurts

It hurts so damn much

to look at everyone around me

See how happy they are

to see all the love that surrounds them

To know that nobody looks at me that way

To know that the only time Ive ever felt something actually feel something

Doesnt feel it too

Doesnt even notice me

not one second thought

Not one backwards glance

I know that I shouldn't let it bother me

I know itll happen when happens

that when I stop looking itll be right there

But I cant stop looking

I cant stop the pain

I want

I want so much

I want it all

But maybe it just wont happen for me

And that hurts so much more

What I want most of all

I want just one person to look at me to see me to love me

To need me to kiss me to hold me

I want this please Im ready
